Pallet trucks are used in many areas of industry. The variants range from wagons for simple transport of light to medium-weight goods on Euro pallets to heavy goods weighing more than one ton. The requirements for a pallet chassis can be very different. Coupling several wagons and the area of noise development are just two topics from a large number of special designs. All chassis variants are made of robust angle steel, have four catch corners for easier positioning of the pallets and have two swivel and two fixed castors fitted. The chassis are delivered painted in blue according to RAL 5007 as standard.

Pallet chassis with TPE tires
The pallet chassis from KRAUS Austria is available in different weight classes. The 22799-22802 series is the first choice for light to medium-weight goods. The chassis can be loaded up to a weight of 750 kg and is supplied with TPE tires that have hubs with grooved ball bearings. Depending on the version, pallets from 800 x 600 mm up to 1,200 x 1,000 mm can be transported with this chassis series. The chassis have a height of 282 mm and an unladen weight of 30-35 kg.
Pallet chassis with solid rubber tires
The 22809-22812 model series includes chassis for the load range up to 1,200 kg. For this high weight, the chassis were equipped with elastic solid rubber tires. The tires are colored blue-grey and leave no traces on the ground. Another advantage of the solid rubber tires is the noiseless rolling, which means that this chassis can also be used in areas with noise protection. The tires run very elastically and have low rolling resistance. The tires have low-wear hubs with ball bearings. The chassis can accommodate pallets from 800 x 600mm up to 1,200 x 1,000mm and weigh 31-36kg unloaded.

Pallet chassis with polyamide wheels
For use in chemical plants or cleaning, polyamide wheels offer the advantage that they are chemically very resistant. The 22879-22882 series can be loaded with a total weight of up to 1,000 kg. The polyamide wheels, which are equipped with a hub with roller bearings, ensure low rolling resistance. The pallets to be transported can have a size of 800 x 600 mm to 1200 x 1,000 mm. Depending on the pallet size, the chassis have an empty weight of 29-35 kg.
Accessories for the pallet chassis
Various accessories are available for the chassis. For better control, it is possible to attach a sturdy tubular push handle to the steering side of the pallet chassis. This makes it optimally pushable and manoeuvrable. If the pallet chassis is to be used together with towing vehicles, a drawbar and a coupling can be fitted to the chassis as an option. The drawbar can simply be pushed under the chassis when it is not in use or not in use. In addition to the normal frame, an attachment frame for the pallet chassis is available. This allows the loading height of the chassis to be increased from 282 mm to 652 mm. The additional attachment frame has a maximum load capacity of 1,200 kg and can accommodate all standard pallet sizes.
